Todd F. Coey Death & Obituary: Todd F. Coey, aged 46, of Glouster, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. Born on April 5, 1978, in Athens, Todd was a beloved husband, father, son, and friend whose sense of humor and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone he met.

A Life of Dedication and Joy

Todd was the sales center leader for Heiner’s and a cherished member of both the Glouster and Logan Moose Lodges. Renowned for his quick wit and humor, Todd brought light to any room he entered, earning the admiration and friendship of many.

He found joy in spending quality time with his loved ones and pursuing hobbies such as golfing, shooting, cooking, and playing poker and euchre. An avid wristwatch collector, Todd had an eye for detail and a passion for life that resonated with all who knew him.

Survived By

Todd leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Sabrina Fleischer Coey, and their sons, Colten (Alexis), Ethan, and Mason Coey; his cherished grandchildren, Liam and Greyson; his mother, Robin Exline Lunsford; his father, Curtis Coey; and his brothers, Toby (Mandy) Coey, Seth (Sarah) Coey, and Lance (Dayna) Bonham.

He is also survived by his sister, Shanda Moore; stepbrother, Mike (Patty) Lunsford; a close friend, Amber Moore; maternal grandmother, Mary Exline; mother-in-law, Dianna Fleischer; and a special uncle, Kevin Coey. Todd is fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in Death By

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ralph Lunsford; father-in-law, Jack Fleischer; maternal grandfather, Frank Exline; and paternal grandparents, Wilma “Sis” and Ralph Coey.

Funeral Arrangements

A funeral service to honor Todd’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Bishopville Church of Christ, officiated by Rocky Exline. Interment will follow at Taylor Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will take place at the church on Friday, January 10, from 4 to 8 p.m., and again for one hour before the service on Saturday.
